Welcome to Sheldon Museum of Art’s online collection database.

Whether you are engaged in research or simply interested in learning about art at Sheldon, you can now search the museum’s permanent collection for specific artists, works of art, dates, or object types. Additionally, you may browse among categories of collection highlights.

The museum’s goal is to provide online access to study images and descriptive information on each of the nearly 13,000 objects in its collection. As an active collecting institution, Sheldon will be updating this database regularly to add new works of art and enhance current records.

Please refer to the Help page for examples on how to best optimize your searches.
